Japanese seasoning sauce for unagi/eel. Unagi Kabayaki notaries are used as a marinade for eels and other fish species. Then roast or fry.

Quite thick that it is extremely good to accompany Japanese eel (Unagi). There are other uses, such as sushi dipping sauce, it provides a salty but very fragrant flavor. Try it: Preheat your oven to 170°C and prepare your desired fish (Unagi or Saba/Mackerel recommended) in the aluminum foil. Simply drizzle or brush a thin layer of this eel sauce over the raw fish and cover the fish with foil. Bake the fish on the grill for about 10-25 minutes (or even longer depending on the thickness/size/quantity of the fish) until cooked. You may want to heat up a small bowl of this eel sauce in your microwave if you love dipping into a lot of sauce.
